Mummy Creation Rules

Mummy creation will be based off Mummy the Resurrection and Mummy the Resurection Players Guide.  All characters must be approved before play.  NO PLAYTESTING.

The number of mummy characters available will be limited based on overall site demographics.  Please contact mummy staff to see if slots are available.


Basic low approval characters.

Attributes:   6/4/3 plus 2 extra dots from stage two of creation.  No more than 2 at 4 or above.
Abilities:  11/7/4 plus 5 more dots from stage two of creation.  No more that 3 at 4 or above. 
Lore:  2 dots Amenti Lore -- free
Balance:  Starting balance is 1 cannot go above 3 at character creation.
Hekau:  3 dots.  At least one dot MUST be in primary path.  Hekau paths cannot be higher than balance rating.
Willpower:  Starting willpower 5 anything above 7 on creation needs special approval and a very good explanation.
Backgrounds:  3 dots plus 2 more from stage 2.  See list below for resticted and prohibited backgrounds.
Merits and Flaws:  7 pts allowed.  See list below for restricted and prohibited merits and flaws.
Freebies:  30
History:  A brief history is required.

History:  A history is required and it is expected that any backgrounds, and other unusual traits will be explained in the history.

 
Backgrounds
Standard backgrounds and those listed in Mummy the Resurrection, and the Players Guide.  There are several restricted backgrounds this means you are limited to a certain level on character creation without talking to the staff first and having a very good explanation in your history for having higher levels.

Merits and Flaws
Standard Merits and flaws and those listed in the mummy books.  Read the mertis and flaws section as it will give a list of what is not appropriate for and Amenti character.   Restricted merits and flaws means you need to talk to the staff before submitting.   Prohibited merits and flaws means they are not allowed at all.

Mummy Types and Demographics
Mummy types and numbers will depend on the population of the site.  Mummies are a very rare character type.  This means that you will not usually find many of them in a given population.  Mummy types will also be restricted based on the demographics of mummy characters already approved.  This makes for a better balance of types  rather than having all approved characters of one type.  Mummy types listed in bothe the Players Guide and main book will be considered.
