unusual high while experiencing some favored pleasure. Over time, it can
make any pleasant behavior addictive. The Nephandi use it to increase
their prey's vulnerability to temptation. The roster of Ecstacy Cultists
corrupted by this rote makes a long, sad recitation. [Only one success is necessary to create the Effect — thus its insidiousness. The victim may roll Intelligence + Awareness or spend a point of Willpower to resist, but usually does not wish to. Successes accumulate with repeated use. When the cumulative successes exceed the victim's Willpower rating, she can be considered addicted to the pleasure, and must toll Intelligence + Awareness or spend Willpower lo avoid succumbing whenever the opportunity presents itself. Getting free of the addiction requires diligent effort, and can become the subject of a story or even an entire chronicle.] |
