• • • Friction Curse — Turning a subject's motion into heat energy, the mage not only renders the subject unable to move, but causes the

victim to heat up until he bursts into flame! This Effect essentially turns the subject's movement into damage, so faster objects are more susceptible.

A modified version can cause the subject's own breathing action to create cold, freezing the subject in place and encasing him in a block of ice.

Partial successes negate some motion and impart some heat; multiple successes can transform motion into damage. Better still, since the target can't

move, he is hard-pressed to dodge the ensuing eruption of fire or cold.
