|
Developed by the Euthanatos mage Ho Chow Fan, the Bone Twisting Palm technique mutates an opponent's bones upon themselves until they finally shatter from the strain or become horribly malformed. Ho took extreme pleasure in employing this attack; it was one of his favorite rotes to cast on failing adepts. Many of the other Traditions claim that Ho Chow Fan was secretly barabbi and that this rote had no place in Euthanatos' teachings. The Pedagogues of the Euthanatos refuse to discontinue the teaching of this rote. [This rote can only be cast on one opponent and one limb at a time. It is usually employed by touch. The Sphere of Life is used to bend and twist the opponent's limb, with the Sphere of Entropy begins to work the real damage upon the bone and marrow structure. Knowledge of the Sphere of Prime channels Quintessence to mutate the opponent's Pattern. [If causing damage instead of crippling, this rote inflicts aggravated damage. If the mage is seeking to cripple the opponent, the crippling causes normal damage, but twists the limb for the duration of the Effect. There is no method of naturally healing such damage; the only method of recovery is to use the Sphere of Life to return the bones to their natural state. In either case, the rote is quite vulgar.] |
