While Shalitza was going through a maze in
Cairo, she projected her senses up into the sky to look down upon her
surroundings. Through the repeated use of this rote, Shalitza finally
burst through the barrier holding her from attaining the Third Sphere of
Correspondence. This rote is one of the first lessons taught to new
initiates of the Batini, even if they are not yet versed in the Spheres
necessary to perform [The mage looks into the sky and focuses her senses so that she is looking down from that point in the sky. This is often used for tracking opponents across rooftops and through crowds of people. It has also been used to help mages escape from mazes and detect approaching individuals.] |
